A print is an original work of art resulting from a creative process where the artist and printer are involved. Prints are produced not reproduced. The term print is often missused to refer to reproductions – like museum posters – which are not original works of art. Fine art prints, on the other hand, are part of an edition consisting of a limited number of impressions.
